Job Description
The R&D Engineer/Researcher plays a vital role in driving innovation within the AppTegral by researching, developing, and implementing cutting-edge technologies and solutions. They are responsible for staying up-to-date with industry trends and advancements and applying this knowledge to enhance the AppTegral's products and services.
Responsibilities

Conduct research on emerging technologies, industry trends, and best practices to identify potential areas of improvement and innovation for the company's products and services.

Develop proof-of-concept projects and prototypes to demonstrate the feasibility and viability of new ideas and solutions.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product management, development, and marketing, to evaluate and prioritize potential innovations and enhancements.

Design, implement, and evaluate experiments to test the performance, usability, and effectiveness of new ideas and solutions.

Document research findings, technical specifications, and experiment results in a clear and concise manner, ensuring that knowledge is effectively communicated and shared within the organization.

Present research findings and recommendations to stakeholders, including senior management, to support decision-making and strategic planning.

Participate in the development and implementation of new solutions, providing technical expertise and guidance as needed.

Stay up-to-date with relevant academic research, industry conferences, and professional networks to maintain a deep understanding of the latest advancements and trends in the field.

Contribute to the development and maintenance of the company's intellectual property portfolio by identifying patentable innovations and assisting with the patent application process as needed.
Requirements

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field. A Ph.D. in a relevant field is a plus.

Proven experience in research and development, with a strong background in the company's technology domain.

Demonstrated ability to identify, analyze, and apply emerging technologies and trends to solve real-world problems.

Excellent analytical, critical-thinking, and problem-solving skills.

Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively convey complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.

Experience with a variety of programming languages, frameworks, and tools relevant to the company's technology stack.
